Solid is BuzzFeed’s CSS style guide, influenced by frameworks like Basscss. It utilizes immutable, atomic CSS classes to enable rapid prototyping and feature development, ensuring consistent styling while allowing flexibility in creating new layouts without additional CSS. Solid also offers globally reusable HTML and CSS components to expedite the development process.  However, it’s important to note that Solid is no longer actively maintained, and reliance on it for future projects is not recommended.
